The bond between animals and humans is deep and mysterious

The bond between an animal and a human sometimes stretches beyond the realm of imagined possibility. Souza found DinDim some six years ago covered in oil and unable to move or fend for himself on the rocks of an island village on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His animal rescue efforts saved the life of the penguin that has made animal rescue news because he has never forgotten the favor.

Loyalty among penguins makes animal rescue news

According to CBS News, this animal rescue news story started back in 2011 when Joao Pereira de Souza took the injured Magellanic penguin home and nursed him back to health. He meticulously cleaned his feathers and fed him fish. According to One Green Planet, it took eleven months for DinDim to get back on his feet, and once he did, Souza decided to return him to his natural habitat. Souza had grown very attached to the little fellow, but did not believe they would ever see each other again. To his and everyone else’s surprise, Dindim paid him a visit a few months later, making animal rescue news.
