Chick-Fil-A is upping the ante with a brand-new addition to their menu. The fast food chain, known for its fresh ingredients and friendly staff, is now introducing a dinner menu.
Chick-Fil-A is open until 9 pm so restaurants do serve meals that can be eaten at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But this new menu was specifically made for a sit-down family dinner. The meals are a little pricey at 29.99, but they include portions for four family members.
Diners select an entrée and two sides. The meal also includes dinner rolls. Entrée choices are chicken nuggets, chicken strips, grilled chicken breasts or fried chicken breasts. Sides include macaroni and cheese, fruit salad, bacon baked beans, vegetable salad, or a superfood side. This dish is made out of kale (known for its nutritious properties), broccolini, dried cherries, nuts, and maple vinaigrette.
The company claims that these meals will not take any longer to prepare than an individual meal.
To make things even more exciting, the company will also include a set of “conversation starters” for the family to discuss while eating dinner.
But don’t get too excited just yet. The company has not decided to officially roll out the dinner menu. They are currently testing out the meal plans at specific Chick-Fil-A locations in North Carolina, Arizona, and Texas.
In fact, the idea for the family meals came after Chick-Fil-A surveyed a group of diners in Dallas, TX. Diners at these three locations have until November to decide if they like the family meal plan. If they do, the company will begin rolling out family meals nationwide.
