Jack Falahee, the 27-year-old star from “How To Get Away With Murder,” has repeatedly refused to talk publicly about his sexuality. Today, this refusal ends. Because Jack Falahee has officially come out as …straight.
In the past, the actor who hit the headlines after portraying a gay law student on “How To Get Away With Murder,” explained that asking stars who play LGBT roles about their sexuality is “pretty reductive.”
“I really hope that — if not in my lifetime, my children’s lifetime — this won’t be a question, that we won’t need this,” he told Vulture last year.
However, Donald Trump’s election made Jack Falahee want to talk publicly about the topic he had been avoiding.
Long story short, Falahee wrote on Twitter that after spending the election night with one of his closest friends who happens to be gay, he felt afraid. He felt like the LGBT rights are endangered but soon realized that, as a straight man, he would be ok. His friend wouldn’t.
