Do you know who Mark Hamill is? The 65-year-old actor played the legendary Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars film. He played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in 1977 which spearheaded his career. In the latter part of his career, Hamill began working as a voiceover actor for the Batman Animated Series in 1992. Hamill used his voice to portray the scheming character The Joker, in the series. Mark Hamill also serves as the voice of the Joker in the Batman: Arkham City video game.
If you watched cartoons in the 1990s, then you are familiar with Batman: The Animated Series. However, many did not know that Hamill was the voice of the infamous villain. Hamill has also reprised his role as Luke Skywalker in various Star Wars films such as Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: A Force Awakens. Over the years, he has kept himself busy with various voiceover roles and appearances in other films.
As for his Trump commentary, Hamill was prompted by a tweet from writer Matt Oswalt. It seems like Hamill answered the call of duty and recorded the tweet in his signature Joker’s voice. He posted the clip to his Twitter account on January 7th, 2016.
So far, no word yet on how the president-elect feels about the voice-over, but we are sure he will tweet about it soon.
